In the framework of the F-CUBED_H2020 , together with the other partners Delafruit and APPO, was hosted in Sweden by TNO, Smurfit Kappa and Swerim AB.

Goal of the visit was the preparation of the upcoming pilot campaigns in Italy (Bari) and Spain (Tarragona).

DAY 1 (14/09/2021)

At Smurfit Kappa in Piteå the visit was supported by Stefan Lundqvist and Martin Viklund. The main focus was to see the TORWASH and the Limburg Filter pilots installed on site and in full operational activity. Heather Wray and Mark Visser of TNO showed the installations and explained how the tests are carried out. This helped in getting operational information of the requirements and how they can best support the upcoming campaigns.

DAY 2 (15/09/2021)

At Swerim AB in Luleå, Chuan Wang, Paul Cobden, Ludvig Ånnhagen, and Peter Skemark guided us through the Swerim’s demo plants for innovations in the green steel industry.

In the two days the following F-CUBED people were present: Olga Kattan, Heather Wray and Mark Visser for TNO, Ana Hernandez Riba, Ignacio López Escriu and Juan Pablo López Pierdominici for Delafruit, Matteo Sorrenti, Gianvito Chimienti and Antonio Giannini for APPO and Marco Ugolini for CFE.
